![]() Now The Final Destination Nick prevents the explosion that would have killed everyone in the movie theatre and a huge amount of people in the Mall so why don't we have a shit ton of people on deaths list. (The line "I wasn't supposed to even be at the race track I was supposed to be watching this movie")ĭeath causes death: Now final destination 2 made it pretty evident that if someone had their deaths avoided, they're put on the death list even if they weren't on the initial list to begin with and even if them being danger was only because of the survivors Brian from Final Destination 2 for example he's only put in harms way because of the accident that happened with the survivors but it's saved by Rory and is put on deaths list as a result. This is especially evident considering it was still Lori's turn on the death list, meaning the filmmakers actively broke franchise's rules and ignored the two other people before her on the death list just to kill Janet for ironic shock value. Now even if Nick saved Lori from the theatre explosion and skipped her death (which he didn't considering death comes for her right on the escalators) Janet should still be after Nick on the death list considering she was saved thus put to the back of the list so she shouldn't have died in the movie theatre. ![]() Janet: This is a way less excusable as we know once you've been saved and skipped death moves you to the back of list. So running with that I could at least make the excuse that considering Jonathan was in a comatose state, death probably thought it wouldn't be fun or entertaining to go after him and decided to put him on hold until he wakes up. As for that price: it's 2.99 on Amazon Prime. ![]() Now you know what, I can at least run damage control on that considering in the novels it's heavily implied that death not only is the one who gave the premonitions to shake things up but is doing all these torturous drawn out deaths for shits and giggles. With all of these sequels, though, the predictable plots are secondary to the crazily creative kills, which are uniformly worth the price of admission. Jonathan (Cowboy): Despite dying before Hunt and Janet his death doesn't start until long after Hunt dies and Janet is saved. Screw the order: In two instances of the film they're pretty much just says screw the order. And oh my god for a film made for the fans this was a massive middle finger to not only the fans but the franchise.
